Love this idea! Where did you get the translucent ocean “jewels”?
I’m sorry Priscilla, these jewels were at this preschool prior to my arrival! I have been here for 7 years now so I’m assuming they’re quite old. I do remember them being around in the late 80’s early 90’s (maybe?) as a decorative element in homes. Sorry I am not of much help to you. 🙁 Maybe they might pop up in a thrift shop at some time!?
I really need to get me some of those shot glasses. I saw some at Woolies the other day too. Oh and for the ocean ‘jewels’, I got ours from Spotlight in the home decor section. Cheap.
I picked them up at the supermarket too Kate. I probably would have walked straight past them had I not seen them used in this manner on Casa Maria’s site. The children really enjoyed the experience! 🙂
