Autumn or Fall, depending on which part of the globe you live, is a beautiful time of year. Particularly so in our glorious hometown of Melbourne. Every year I look forward to our playground displaying the most gorgeous fiery colours for us to enjoy. Here is a little playscape I created for the children with an Autumn theme. Of course it is no match for the great outdoors, but the children do find these little playscapes fun. Just another avenue to foster children’s learning about seasonal change.
Of course the children like to add their own props, so here come some Thai dancers!
Makes perfect sense in their imaginary world!
But the greatest Autumn joy… to play with those masses of falling leaves!
A pile of Autumn leaves is simply irresistible for any child. Just try to keep them from it!
